On Saturday June 6, United Way Toronto and Evergreen co-present the second annual 100In1Day Toronto – a fun, free community festival where over one hundred people across the city get a chance to share what they would love to see happen in Toronto. This could be anything from a midnight picnic at an underpass, to animating local parks with art, to throwing dance parties in unexpected places.

If you’re looking to make a difference in the community, this is your chance to get involved! Tons of activities will take place across the city for all ages and interests, including the Underpass Picnic and love letters to Toronto! 100In1Day is a global festival of civic engagement looking to create a big chance through small actions. Since beginning in 2012 in Bogota, Columbia, the initative has spread to dozens of other cities across the globe. Think of what could happen when hundreds of people unite for the improvement of their city, all on the same day!

Join the movement and share your vision today by submitting your intervention, participating in a workshop or helping to spread the word. Don’t forget to follow on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and use the hashtag #100In1DayTO.
