Shindig! throws some of the best parties in the city and this Friday, resident DJs Splattermonkey, General Eclectic, and Parkdale Funk are celebrating two years of doing just that at The Piston (937 Bloor St. W.). As usual, they’ll be spinning an all-vintage, all-vinyl selection of rhythm and blues, northern soul, Motown, mod, and early rock ‘n’ roll guaranteed to make you twist and shout! (Time to brush up on those ’50s and ’60s dance moves, folks.) Tony Hicks will be taking photos at the party, so be sure to look your best!
