Who doesn’t love a good market? NO ONE, THAT’S WHO! So we let out a collective “HOO-RAH,” because starting April 11 and running until May 14, you can head to 1418 Dundas St. W. (the former home of Magwood, which is moving to Queen Street) for the 101 Supermarket Pop up Shop. And you know it’s gonna be a SUPER(market) fun time. (Bad joke. Sorry not sorry.)

Presented by the lovely people behind 101 Markets (they bring you the monthly market at 3030 Dundas St. W.), the Supermarket Pop up sounds like a great way to spend an afternoon…or five. Offering everything from vintage clothing, furniture, and household items to handmade jewellery, art, and body products from local entrepreneurs and designers, this market aims to bring attention to Toronto’s small business community by connecting the suppliers directly with their customers.

Stock up on everything from baked goods (!!!) to spring vintage, designer collections, and random cool collectibles to give your kitchen/living room/desk that extra little something. Lots of the items are not available in any other Toronto retail spaces, so you know this stuff is unique! Find cool tings and support local entrepreneurs (and then go for brunch at The Federal)? MMMKAY!

Hours of operation are 11am to 7pm; the market is closed on Tuesdays. More information on specific vendors will be available soon, so keep your eyes on their website for all the deets. And mark(et) your calendars, because you don’t want to miss out!
