For design lovers, fashion warriors, creative courters and party monsters, the city’s boldest design fundraiser returns to The Design Exchange Saturday, November 7th. We want to send YOU into the gorgeous world of DX Intersection: KISMET.

DX Intersection: KISMET, presented by The Rug Company, honours the serendipitous partnership of George Yabu and Glen Pushelberg, who oversee one of the most celebrated design firms in the world.

On November 7, immerse yourself in a synthesis of design disciplines and creative cultures, realized through ephemeral installations curated by Yabu Pushelberg. Indulge in culinary adventures and revel in entrancing entertainment featuring live music and performances by Sam Sparro, DJ Lina Bradford, Nomi Ruiz (Jessica 6 and Hercules & Love Affair) and many more.

Shimmer, sparkle, and glow for KISMET. Don your precious metals and diaphanous threads. Flowy frocks (and locks!), slick and shiny suits, and even bodacious bodysuits – all embellished with enchanting swoops, swirls, and zigzagging lines – are welcomed and encouraged. A (very) grand prize will be awarded to the best costume. Visit dxkismet.tumblr.com for inspiration.
