With gift-giving season and the spirit of generosity upon us, what better than to combine both at the Corduroy Magazine Holiday Pop-Up Closet? Featuring hand-picked items chosen by Corduroy Magazine and Toronto blog Textstyles.ca, finding something unique for that special someone is a sure thing, with proceeds from the sale going to the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation.

The list of labels taking part is a virtual who’s who of the Canadian fashion scene, from Amanda Lew Kee and Duy fresh off the LG runway to headpiece maven Lara Vincent and Vancouver’s Obakki. The full roster includes the likes of Palmer and Sons, Assembly New York, Levi’s, Pendelton, and Hansel from Basel.

You’ll also find yourself tempted to select a little something for yourself from Chasse Gardée’s amazing selection of footwear. Whose tootsies don’t need a stylish little pick-me-up after a long day of pounding the pavement in search of Christmas gifts?

Last night’s preview was so ram-packed with friends and media that it was next to impossible to examine everything at the closet.  I’ll be back this weekend to get my first – and hopefully last – round of Christmas shopping done. See you there.

Visit the Corduroy Magazine Pop-Up Closet November 26 – 28 at Chasse Gardée, 1084 Queen Street West.
