This year’s inaugural Studio District Film Party will host 1000+ Canadians working in the film and television industry. (YES, 1000+!) The party is being organized by Toronto ACTRA Women’s Committee, the Diversity Committee, and the Young Emerging Actors Assembly; they’re on a mission to cut through some of the noisy glitz and glamour of the film festival and direct a spotlight on the misrepresentation of women and diverse performers in the media.

The evening promises not only important conversation, but also one helluva blowout that celebrates Canadian creativity and all of our hardworking homegrown talent.

As a red carpet teaser, ACTRA has partnered with NKPR IT Lounge to offer four lucky Shedoesthecity readers a gift bag LOADED with TIFF essentials.
