Remember this poster? Well you should – It was hanging over your older brother’s bed during the reign of Charlie’s Angels in the 70s.
This blonde bombshell turned heads with her sun-kissed skin and iconic hair. The “Farrah hair” far outlasted the “Rachel do” of the 90s, and inspired numerous international designers to shape their collections around this sex symbol. She represented freedom and natural beauty through her high-waisted denim and braless looks in the heyday of the hit TV sitcom.
Designers like Anna Sui , Jill Stuart , and Donna Karan have all found inspiration in Fawcett’s iconic retro look. Chloé’s Spring 2003 Collection featured crisp cuts and clean lines. It drew from Fawcett’s denim shorts and basic tanks by exploring high-waisted bottoms and form-fitting blouses. Her playful image is also alluded to in this collection through the light fabrics and pocketed trousers.
Fawcett’s beachy, effortless looks combined with her all-American, laid back 70’s attitude nearly defined the style of that entire decade. Her epic style sense and strong will power make her a timeless fashion icon.

I remember buying Charlie's Angels trading cards with gum, I wish I knew what I did with them. My favorite was the one of Jill on the skateboard...I had it LAMINATED!
