The documentary tells the incredible true story of one man’s journey to empower women and address a taboo issue in rural India.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Tiff Bell Lightbox Box Office (350 King Street West). Tickets can also be purchased over the phone at 416-599-TIFF (8433), credit only.

Menstrual Hygiene Day is a global initiative where NGOs join together from across all sectors to engage in action, advocacy and knowledge-sharing around menstrual health and hygiene. Events will be held around the world in order to start the conversation and break the stigma. Femme International and Wash Canada believe that menstruation should not oppress, shame or isolate women. We are so happy to celebrate this event in Toronto!
