The world needs empowered girls; girls who are leaders, confident and creative. Girls who can solve problems, create innovative solutions, and live fearlessly.

Possibility Camp runs July 17th-21st for girls between the ages of 8 and 13. It will include an exploration of Ryerson’s Campus and Telus as well as hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities to help girls to develop their empathy and growth mindset, generate creative ideas, and build self-confidence in group settings. Using experiential learning, Possibility Camp empowers girls to become leaders, social entrepreneurs, and change-makers.

The July 2017 camp will be focused on the Lean Startup method. Girls will learn how to to persevere with an idea and grow a business through a principled approach to new product development. At the end of the week-long camp, campers will participate in a pitch presentation to practice their skills.

Snacks and materials are included. Subsidized ticket applications are also open until July 10th. Possibility Camp runs July 17-21 at Ryerson DMZ Launch Zone (341 Yonge St). Get more information here.
