Well, now that we have your attention with the whole free food thing (more on that later), allow us to introduce you to your new fave Dundas West snack bar: The Ossington Stop!  It’s a lil wisp of a place brought to you by the owner of Fishbar, offering an affordable and unique menu filled with small bites of gourmet comfort food—and perhaps most importantly, they’re open til 4am on weekends.

The timing is right and so is the price: the eclectic menu includes soft shell beef tacos for $3.50 each, sausage pies at $8 each, and Russian steamed buns with pork and cabbage at a breezy $4 a pop. Plus beers are $4, wine is $5, and a double shot of whiskey will set you back $7.

To embrace the new space, Ossington Stop is giving out the following free food to passersby and patrons from 12pm to 5pm on Thursday, July 17th:

– Steamed bun with pork, cabbage, and carrot salad

– Chicken n’ waffles (!!!!) with roasted chicken, a Southern savory waffle, and honey garlic sauce

– Baked BBQ Side Ribs with a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce and the “deep goodness” slaw

Ossington Stop is now officially open at 1164 Dundas Street West. Current hours are: Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays – 12pm to 12am; Thursdays through Saturdays –12pm to 4am.
