You’ve probably got a bunch of old bras taking up valuable real estate in your drawers – why not put them to good use?

Free The Girls empowers women by giving them a job – they provide an opportunity for sex trafficking survivors to build their own business selling second-hand clothing while going to school, establishing a house, and caring for their families. Bras are some of the most sought-after items and can command a better price than other clothing. Plus, bras provide an opportunity for these women to work with other women, since they have a history of being abused and used by men.

Free The Girls is hosting their third annual Cele-BRA-tion on Friday October 21 from 8 pm to 12 pm at the Mod Club (722 College St. W). They are collecting gently used bras to help women across the world set up their own micro businesses selling bras. For more information and tickets, visit here.
