9pm. NYE @ Bily Kun. Ahhh, a bar with no cover on New Years Eve. With DJ Nikita. 354 Mont-Royal E.

9:30pm. NYE in Old Montreal. Join the crowds at Old Port for some spectacular NYE fireworks at this outdoor party. Traditional and pop music by 12 Inch and Bernadette. Place Jacques-Cartier.

10pm. NYE @ Barfly. Are you really not feeling the NYE hype? Head to Barfly, where you can play some pool, pet the resident dogs, drink some great beer on tap and listen to the classic rock of Durt Loader. Free. 4062A blvd St-Laurent.

9pm. NYE @ The Belmont. Smirnoff presents this open-bar jam promising the largest selection of liquor in the city. Only $30 for women, $60 for men.

10pm. NYE @ Muzique. An upscale NYE bash that won’t break the bank – walk a red carpet, enjoy house, top 40, rock and 80’s all night, champagne at midnight, a huge balloon drop, party favours, a laser and light show, gourmet hors d’oeuvre stations, and a professional photographer! 8pm. Prestige 2010 @ The Darling Foundry. This is a 21+ event in a renovated, bohemian-cool Old Port space. The party will be divided into two rooms, the Centennial (hip-hop, reggae, old school) and the Renaissance (house, R&B, live remixes). Lowest drink prices in the city. $45. 745 Ottawa St.

9pm. NYE Pop 80 @ La Tulipe. 80s music, champagne and canapes – what more could you want? $30.
