It is estimated between one and two per cent of the world’s population are redheads. Are you part of this mane elite? We’ve found your people. On Sunday September 18th, the largest gathering of gingers in Canada will amass on Trinity Bellwoods to (figuratively) paint the town red!

If you’re a natural redhead, unnatural redhead, redhead gone grey, have a ginger beard, or own a ginger dog – you’re invited! Even if you’re not a ging, that’s okay too – wear a red hat/toque/scarf in solidarity! The Second Annual Canadian Ginger Walk is hosted by the Canadian Ginger Association and Born Ginger, and they’ll even throw in some sunscreen for participants. And as green is by far the most flattering colour for redheads, pick up one of these sweet Born Ginger t-shirts before the walk, which runs 3-4 pm.
