Toronto accessories designer Headmistress headed to Coney Island to shoot the look book for a new line of floral crowns, bib necklaces, and flower clips. The fresh spring pastels and jewel tones were quite enough to make us yearn for summer in a way that is beyond physical, but she had to rub it in, shooting all her new Spring/Summer 2013 pieces in a crave-inducing carnival of summer nostalgia. The model chomps a hot dog, poses by the Tilt-A-Whirl, and shows off her cotton candy tongue; we sit at our desks and yearn for a time when crop tops and floral crowns will seem second nature, not aspirational. Check out the amazing photos, shot by Hannah Sider, and the great pieces in the new collection.
Don’t worry babies. Spring is coming. And we can’t wait to top it off care of Headmistress. You can find the new collection at Anthropologie, or on Headmistress’ website.

She just neds a red belt and she’d be hot dog chic.
@haleycullingham It’s made that much worse by the fact that humans physically never look worse than they do at this exact time of year
