This weekend, I was so excited to be able to attend BOOBYBALL for the first time ever. I knew this was no ordinary fundraiser, and was told to expect a great party, with lots of blondes, boobies, and booze. Being quite close with my own two ‘breast-friends,’ I was thrilled to partake in BOOBYBALL antics, as I am a major fan of breast health. I was even more stoked when I learned that this year’s theme was Studio 54 – FLASH.

With the help of the phenomenal 69 Vintage Clothing Company, I was dressed for the event… sheer sparkly top, hotpants, and opaque tights…. and I was ready to disco. My boobies were on display (tastefully) and, after a long week, I was so ready to party that I had butterflies (it could have been my nerves about wearing the hotpants, but butterflies none-the-less.)

The Koolhaus was transformed, and decked out disco styles. Andy Warhol’s Brillo Boxes helped set the 54 stages, and sequins galore were most of the female guest’s choice of costume. Yellowtail Pink Bubbles were flowing, as sparkly drag queens like Daytona Bitch sang and danced us into a champagne-cocktail high. When our feet couldn’t take the dancing any longer, we chilled out as we chomped down the chow-mein appies, and gorged on the candy counter.

And, of course, then we danced some more…

All in all, I had a ton of fun in my hotpants – and the 9th annual BOOBYBALL helped raise a ton of funds for Rethink Breast Cancer.
