For The Kids: Pippi Longstocking’s Pirate Ship Docks at Toronto’s Waterfront

Pippi Longstocking, the daughter of an infamous pirate (and beloved heroine of the Astrid Lindgren series), now finds herself blown ashore in Toronto.

Pippi is the strongest girl in the world, utterly unpredictable and the best friend you could ever ask for. Join her aboard her 50 foot pirate ship for a cruise around Toronto Harbour and an original musical adaptation full of foot-stomping, fast-talking and fine-rhyming! But be ready…anything is possible with this red-headed, freckle-faced, fearless friend!

Produced by the same creators of triple Dora Award-winning Peter Pan, this lively show is sure to be a hit, for Pippi fans big and small.

Pippi runs every day from August 23 to September 4th at 7 p.m., along with matinees on Saturday/Sunday and Labour Day at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and kids must be accompanied by an adult. Get tickets here.
