Do you dream about designing and making your own clothes, or learning to work with leather? Maybe you’d like to make a quilt for a friend or learn to hem your own pants? Good news, The Woven Wolf is here to help with all of the above, and more!

Prior to enrolling in a private workshop at Toronto’s Make Den Sewing Studio this fall (stay tuned for a post about my experience but spoiler alert: I LOVED it), sewing classes spent a good four years sitting on my bucket list. Some months I couldn’t make them work with my schedule while others, I found myself short on cash and couldn’t justify the expense. And when I did get close to enrolling, I would talk myself out of it for fear of doing poorly or not being able to keep up. And I’m betting I’m not alone.

A creative community that aims to offer a plethora of interactive sewing web tutorials for crafters of all skill levels to learn at their own pace, for the cost of dinner? Amazing! We’re talking slick videos with demonstrations, easy-to-follow explanations and tons of downloadable resources. This is one seriously cool initiative that I’d love to see come to fruition.
