If you’re finding winter hard to get through, Toronto’s annual Winterlicous event is a delightful way to add sumptuous warm notes to our city’s coldest season. With 210 of Toronto’s top restaurants participating, choice is abundant. Choose a venue in a neighbourhood you rarely frequent for a night of discovery, or book a table at a place you’ve always dreamed of dining at but that may not have fit your budget.

We had the pleasure of attending a Café Boulud Winterlicious media preview to test out their prix fixe lunch menu. Being devout fans of French Bistro fare, it was a real mid-day treat. Beyond the food, we also adore the interior design of Café Boulud – the deep banquets in teal that contrast so well with pale pink linens. Of course, stepping into The Four Seasons is a trip in itself and a way to feel transported within your own city.

Here’s a peek at the $33 #LisciousTO prix fixe lunch menu at Café Boulud. (Every dessert is truly divine.)
