7:30pm. Waiting for Godot @ Players’ Theatre, 3480 McTavish. McGill’s Players’ Theatre perform Samuel Beckett’s classic absurdist play, Waiting for Godot. Director Isaac Robinson has contemporized the play for a twenty-first century audience but the play’s dramatization of existential questions is timeless. Tickers $6 students/seniors, $8 general admission.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 29
8pm. Beth Orton @ L’Astral, 305 Ste-Catherine O. British singer-songwriter Beth Orton plays L’Astral in support of her new album, “Sugaring Season” her first in six years, out on October 2nd. $25.

10pm. Faggity Ass Saturday @ Royal Phoenix, 5788 St-Laurent. By popular demand…The Faggity Ass Fridays crew hosts the second Faggity Ass Saturday event at Royal Phoenix. Featuring a performance by Benni E, sets by DJs Nino Brown and Sam, hosted by Princess Johnston Newfield. The theme of edition of FAS is “Hair,” a celebration of ‘dos, long or short, dyed or natural, wigged or not. From 10pm-1pm a fabulous surprise Montreal hair stylist will be doling out live PWYC haircuts (first come first serve). As always, the night raises funds for Head & Hands’ Sense Project, which provides sexual education to Montreal youth. $10/PWYC.

8pm. A$AP ROCKY @ Metropolis, 59 Ste. Catherine E. A$AP ROCKY kicks off his North American tour in support of his debut solo album “LongLiveA$AP,” set to be released on October 31, 2012. $30.

8pm. Gossip @ Theatre L’Olympia, 1004 Ste. Catherine E. Beth Ditto brings her electrifying stage performance to Montreal, as indie act Gossip plays Olympia. $28.
