Persephone Productions presents an adaption of Thomas Hardy’s 1874 novel ‘Far From the Maddening Crowd’. In its third year, Montreal’s Stop Motion Film Festival graces Concordia University with a great program of films, and panel discussions with stop motion animation experts, conferences and hands-on workshops. Bloody Valentines: 48-hour Horror Filmmaking Competition @ Montreal’s Psychotronic Film Centre, 3660 St-Laurent, 3rd floor. Have you got what it takes? Ten aspiring filmmaking teams will compete for the title of Best Short Horror Film in this insane 48-hour dash. Each team will be given a horror subgenre, prop and line of dialogue that must be incorporated into the final product. All films will be screened on October 29th.
