Angelic, chastity, submissive, devout, obedient, and domestic… the unblemished conventional attributes prescribed to the embodiment of womanhood. ENOUGH OF THIS JUNE CLEAVER SHIT! Who wants to follow her feeble and pathetic example of altruistic behaviour anyways?! I’d rather be a Rude Gurl Selectah and Get ‘Er Done! 

Get ‘Er Done was conceived out of sheer what-the-fuck-is-this? Thinking. Like every good thing, it came from total dissatisfaction with the status quo.  Described as  "a sweaty, grimy, all-out DJ tour with chicks. But not in the holding hands, Lilith Fair way, or the Spice Girls faux-grrrl power way, and certainly not in the Vice Guide To Girls way. Just a bunch of smokin' hot DJs tearing it down… it doesn't really matter that we're girls, what matters more is that we aren't boys.”  

AS IF it was the excuse you need to turn the sewing machine off, get all dolled up, and put the mop and bucket back in the closet. 

Anna Von of Pink Mafia eloquently explains, “I just want to go across the country with a bunch of awesome talent who aren't trying to fuck me or act like my kids. Obviously you will never find that with a bunch of boys. These are some of the best DJs in the country and it's just a bonus that they're girls.”  

The gals are getting it done across the country with numerous national dates starting July 3rd in Whistler and will bring it to Toronto on Saturday July 12th with Betti Forde, Bitchin', Fierce Helder, Barbi and an inaugural performance by The Royal Society at Wrongbar.  

“I don’t want to be told what it is to be a girl. Like when Vice reduced me to unicorns and sassy mags. Or when true colours rolls though and I got told that to be all-girl you have to be old, lesbo and political…. We just wanna play good parties, get drunk, act a fool and travel like everyone else.  

Come celebrate the fact that you NEVER will nor want to be Cleaver-esque by throwing back some moonshine, getting buck and playing like (and with) the boys. Appreciate it; before you know it you’ll be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. KIDDING! 

The party of the summer is going to be Get ‘Er Done.
