There’s a new market in town, and it’s putting the spotlight on Toronto’s LGBTQ2SIA+ business owners and makers!

Launching this Sunday at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre (12 Alexander St.), the Flamingo Market is an all-inclusive, bi-monthly marketplace that aims to feature, promote, and foster the diverse small business and artisan talent that our local LGBTQ2SIA+ community has to offer.

Here are a few of the vendors and businesses you’ll find at the inaugural edition:

NONA Vegan Foods: Vegan sauces and prepared foods
Playing w/ Food: Latin cuisine from chefs Isabel Sánchez and Abe Worno
Betty Felon Fashions: Swimwear, lingerie, and workout clothing (including a new specialty line of designs for trans feminine folks)
Bros Before Foes: Enamel pins, prints, T-shirts, buttons, and free colouring sheets for kids
Chucks Mutts & Co: Dog leashes, walking, and behaviour services
H2tbody: Luxury soaps, body butters, and balms
Nurtured Sew Naturally: Wool dryer balls, laundry detergent, and essential oils
Repurposeful Rugs: Upcycled hand-braided rugs, bunting, and reusable gift bags
Toni Marlow Clothing: Gender neutral undergarments and T.O.M. (time of month) boxers
Top Drawer Canada: Vintage art, ads, and decor

The Flamingo Market runs from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and admission is free.
