Have you ever partied in a room full of garbage? This Saturday, PULP: Paper Art Party will be turning Geary Lane (360 Geary Ave.) into blue bin playground combining installation art, live music, dancing, and conversation.

PULP is a fundraiser aimed at examining the current lifecycle of paper materials among others and investigate alternative uses. The evening isn’t about lectures or presentations, though. Inside this unique two-story space, artists will introduce guests to sustainable design through reclaimed material installations.

The musical lineup for the night features the Michael Louis Johnson Trio, Marshall Drägun, RIOHV, and CL. Money raised will go to the Evergreen Center at The Yonge Street Mission, a drop-in center for at-risk street youth.

Tickets are $20 or $15 for students (valid ID required) and can be purchased online. Doors open at 9 p.m.
