“Here’s the cottage – where’s Rob Ford?” said one Pride-goers sign, above a strategically-placed canoe. Good question.

Toronto – brace your collective sequined G-string’s for World Pride coming to our streets in 2014. I cannot, at this time, even imagine what that will be like, considering the 2-hour parade and 24/7 love fests that already take over every year. Gay, straight, bi, trans, friendly, topless, whatever – Pride is a time to love yourself, be proud, be fearless and accept each other for who we all are.

I heard many moans and groans about the forced & obscure branded floats trying to show support. It’s important to keep in mind this isn’t about corporations “giving props to the gays” (although banks seem to think it is) and remember the real values behind why this is important. But we can still enjoy some glitter, sexy bods and hot messes, can’t we? HOT. MESSES. Oy vey! Happy Pride everyone (especially Mr. Anderson Cooper!)
