Puces Pop, Pop Montreal’s craftier side, is offering you lots of ways to spend your weekend…and paycheck!
First up, on Sept 29th, Puces Pop kicks off with Fashion Pop, a runway show featuring the work of six up-and-coming fashion designers. Each designer will present a six-look mini-collection to the public and a panel of judges. This panel, composed of all-knowing fashion insiders working in the industry (including last year’s winner, Angie Johnson of Norwegian Wood), will decide who goes home with the $1000 cash prize, $500 Le Chateau gift certificate and Worn Fashion Journal feature. Admission is free & seating is first come, first serve, so be sure to show up early to nab a good vantage point!
On Oct 2nd & 3rd, head over to the Puces Pop Record Fair, a two-day music love-in featuring record collectors, instrument repairs and international & local indie record labels.
Also on Oct 2nd & 3rd, be sure to check out the Puces POP DIY & Craft Fair, the largest fair of its kind in Montreal. Proudly celebrating its 6th birthday, this year’s fair features a marketplace with over 100 local and international artists, crafters, and indie record labels selling their wares.
