Lick A Shot: NYE Edition @ The Red Light, 1185 Dundas St. W.
Party like it’s 200X! DJs Geoff Snack, Andrew Roti, 84.85 and friends play millenium-era rap and R&B, and maybe some new shit, just ’cause. Things will must definitely get messy. Free gutter champagne when the ball drops! No cover, requests encouraged.

New Wave New Year’s/White Girl NYE @ Parts & Labour, 1566 Queen St. W.
New Wave New Year’s rules the main floor with DJ Scott Wade playing the best in new wave, Brit-pop and punk. In the Shop, DJs Patrick McGuire, Josh McIntyre and Ghetto Gold Matt play rap circa 1993 to 2011. Fog, lasers, a champagne countdown and 4 am last call! No advance tickets, $10 all night.

Chronologic New Year’s Eve @ The Garrison, 1197 Dundas St. W.
Goin’ Steady DJs play decade after decade after decade of dance music in the big room while special guest DJ Shit La Merde handles the front. $20 advance tickets available at Rotate This and Soundscapes.

Drake’s Stardust NYE 2012 @ The Drake Hotel, 1150 Queen St. W.
Studio 54 meets the last days of disco! Dress the part (think jumpsuits, platforms and sparkles) and ring in 2012 with a lobby champagne bar, live music, DJ sets, midnight countdown and more. Party options include general admission ($35, Lounge and Sky Yard), after midnight admission ($20, building-wide), three course dinner ($75), strolling cabaret dinner ($75) and the four course dinner ($100). NYE at Thompson Hotel @ Thompson Hotel, 550 Wellington St. W.
Ring in 2012 from the best rooftop in the city! Music by DJ Lazy Ray + Moet Champagne glass at midnight and hors d’oeuvres. $85 early bird tickets and $200 all-access pass (includes access to rooftop) available online.

Hollywood Glam NYE @ Nyood, 1096 Queen St. W.
A glamorous New Years celebration inspired by classic Hollywood. First seating ($60, 6:30-9 pm) includes set menu dinner with option to move upstairs to Nyood Bar after dinner for $50. Second seating ($140 + taxes/gratuities, 9:30 pm) includes set menu dinner, party in the restaurant after dinner, champagne toast at midnight and party favours. A Masquerade Ball @ Easy and the Fifth, 225 Richmond St.
A modern masquerade ball hosted by Shinan Govani (National Post social columnist, author of Boldface Names), Anita Clarke (Fashion Blogger,iwantigot.com), John-Paul Ricchio (Principal of John-Paul & Associates), April Wozny (April Wozny PR), and Gail McInnes (owner, Magnet Creative Management). $100 entry includes open bar, midnight balloon drop countdown, custom party favours, live entertainment, giveaways and catering by The 5th Grill & Terrace. A NYE Experience @ Twist Gallery, 1100 Queen St. W.
TheList.TO takes over Twist Gallery and converts it into an unforgettable experience engine! Walls will be clad with some of Toronto’s newest art while DJs Rivera, Koln and Paul Revered provide the sound. Bar open until 3 am, with complimentary bubbly at midnight. $40 early bird tickets available online, $60 at the door.

YLMC NYE @ El Mocambo, 464 Spadina Ave.
Young Lions Music Club teams up with all-girl Weezer tribute band Sheezer and Steam Whistle to ring in the New Year! With DJs Ben Fox of Dinosaur Bones and Bobby Kimberley + free Steam Whistle for all at midnight. $25 tickets available at Soundscapes and online.

Cold Tea and Double Double Land Block Party @ Cold Tea, 58 Kensington Ave. & Double Double Land, 209 Augusta Ave.
At Cold Tea: DJs FlipSmile and Strong Like, free champagne toast at midnight, champagne fountain by Terrarea, extremely special solid-state cocktail special for early comers by Home Ec., a hypnotic collection of video art, photobooth, and decor and installation by special artists. Bang The Myth Paradise NYE @ Unit, 1198 Queen St. W.
Two great parties (Bang The Party and Myth Paradise Music) come together for NYE 2012. DJs Todd West, Andycapp, Hajabug, Nep, Aman, Todd Simms, and Jeremy Glenn have selected their ten favourite songs of ALL TIME and will play them for you, plus many others. They promise something special. No cover, no pretension, no line-ups.

Three saucy events in one venue! New Years Eve 2012 @ Crawford, 718 College St.

Paradise Ball 2012 @ The Great Hall, 1087 Queen St. W.
