Story Planet is trying to raise $20 000 by Sept. 15th! Help support their Write On Campaign by coming out to play some bingo at Opera Bob's this Wednesday

Story Planet is an amazing not-for-profit that helps kids ages 6-18 learn to communicate effectively and creatively. Whether they are budding young authors, learning English as a second language, or struggling at school, Story Planet supports these kids to love writing and reading by combining creative writing projects with art. The organization is inspired and mentored by Dave Eggers and his 826 Writing Centre.

Story Planet is raising money to offer free after school writing projects to kids in the Bloordale neighbourhood. You can donate online, or you can play some Bingo.

On Wednesday, Sept. 12th, they’re hosting a Bingo Night at Opera Bob’s (1112 Dundas St. W) on Dundas near Ossington. There’s a $10 suggested donation at the door. Bingo for kids! THE BEST!

Giving kids the power to communicate is vital to their development, and to the development of our communities. Help Story Planet make a difference!
