Sometimes boyfriend’s have better style than you. It happens. This is why we asked Jordin Mimran to share his holiday wish list; we knew that the guy behind The Bay’s MOON collection would have an eye for design.

Jordin started MOON with his sister Tamara and since launch it is our go-to for classic wardrobe staples that won’t break the bank. He is really good at creating and sourcing practical stylish things that are also really cool. If you are at a loss on how to please your man’s discerning taste, then this list is for you.

1) Republic Bicycle
The Aristotle fixed gear/single speed bicycle from Republic Bikes are really cool because you can recolour components and experiment with different combinations in their online 3D Bike Shop.  When you’re happy with your design, they’ll custom build and ship the bike to you!  A stylish ride for quick errands around the city. Go Vistek

2) Leica Camera
Long acclaimed by professionals and everyday users as the best in the world, once owned, a Leica camera becomes a lifelong companion.  The digital M9 is the creme de la creme of the M-System cameras, but I’d be happy with any camera in the Leica family!
Get it at Vistek, 496 Queen St. E. Toronto

3) Garrett Leight Sunglasses
The Hampton butterscotch sunglasses have a great vintage wayfarer style and I love their thin profile.  They come with polarized mineral glass lenses.
Spectacle, 752 Queen St. W. Toronto

4) A Drawer Full Of Socks from Mr.Porter
I love fun and colourful socks and this is a great gift idea for the stylish guy who’s got everything.  Basically, select from a dozen pairs of socks from different brands at mrporter.com and they’ll deliver them beautifully wrapped in a gift box.

5) Subscription to Interior Design Magazine
Every issue of Interior Design is jam packed with a variety of outstanding installations, contract and residential projects, news and more. It has more editorial pages than any other publication in its field and is the perfect gift for any design enthusiast, such as myself!
