From now until August 5th there’s a slice of foodie heaven in Toronto, and it’s called Front Street Foods.

What is it? An oasis of delicious eats, both savoury and sweet, tucked away in the leafy refuge of Adelaide Place.

Open on weekdays starting from 11am, FSF is a mini culinary vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the financial district. The view is gorgeous (see our pics below) and there are SO many lunch options and vendors that even the pickiest of eaters will have a hard time making up their minds.

Can’t make it for lunch? Don’t fret, there are all sorts of fantastic post-work deals like $5 glasses of wine and oyster specials to enjoy with co-workers and friends alike. Heck, with all the picnic tables and share plates, you may even make new friends; we sure did.

Here are some of our faves that you HAVE TO try:

IMG_4883Fish’D by Edo – Sushi burrito

Fresh and crunchy with just the right amount of seasoning. SO GOOD.

IMG_4877Brock Sandwich – Fried chicken sandwich

Perfectly breaded with the best coleslaw. Also the size of a human head so you can get two meals out of this guy easssssy.

IMG_4873 (1)Jake’s Lobster  – Lobster roll in a butter bun with fries and coleslaw

Buttery lobster chunks in slider-size bites on perfect fresh pastry. Umm yeah.

IMG_4870Raclette Suisse – Melted cheese over fried potatoes, honey-glazed sausage and kale salad

Follow @raclette_suisse and watch one of the many videos of the GIANT cheese being melted and shaved down; it’s the stuff dreams are made of.

IMG_4888The Mighty Cob – Frilled corn on the cob

Say yes first, ask for toothpicks later.

IMG_4894The Rolling Pin – Cinnamon donut ice cream sandwich with caramel

I can’t even put into words the joy that my mouth felt during this experience.
