Toronto Hit List: Pumpkinfest, With It Presents Jonathan Toubin, Queer Slowdance, The Bazaar of the Bizarre & more!

October 5th-6th Louise Lecavalier’s Battleground @ Fleck Dance Theatre (Harbourfront Centre), 207 Queens Quay W. In the Toronto premiere of Battleground, Lecavalier explores new territory with a solo, and duet, inspired by two Italo Calvino characters. The stage is a fight ring where a thousand battles are waged, both ephemeral and extreme. $35-45 tickets available online.

October 6th-8th Pumpkinfest @ Downsview Park, 35 Carl Hall Rd. Family-friendly fall festival featuring a pumpkin patch, food trucks and vendors, a pumpkin pie eating contest, carnival games, inflatable corn maze, and more. Admission is free! Runs 10-6 pm daily.

WEDNESDAY

7 pm Music Bingo @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. A FREE weekly event combining the love of music with the traditional bingo format. Each player receives a Music Bingo card which consists of an assortment of songs. Instead of calling out numbers, they play the music! Singing along encouraged.
