On Thursday, September 6, Toronto Eaton Centre and KiSS 92.5 FM host Devo Brown will launch Urban Mic, a live music experience aimed at profiling the city’s diverse musical talent.

The kick-off event will take place in the Urban Eatery, featuring a performance by Toronto’s Shi Wisdom. Shi’s soul, R&B, and alternative influences bring a unique soulfulness to her voice, most recently heard on Kardinal Offishall’s Mr. Parker.

Every Thursday evening following the launch, the Urban Eatery will host GTA musical talent. TEC is calling artists of all ages to apply for their chance to show Toronto what they’ve got.
