STOPTALKING is a live performance series held in Downtown Toronto. The first installment of the series took place in 2009 at the now defunct Good Blood, Bad Blood. The night featured a modest collection of emerging local performers providing a unique variety of entertainment. As the series has progressed, STOPTALKING continually flourishes and transforms, providing an ever-improving roster of performers, successively larger crowds, and a stronger event each time.

The visual art-based performance series aims to facilitate an engaging social experience enveloped by a variety of live performances and a visually intriguing atmosphere. STOPTALKING features storytelling, poetry, confessionals, stand-up comedy, performance art, personal letters, skits, and more. For each event, a new installation is created to compliment the stage—a collage of numerous objects, including artifacts from previous editions of STOPTALKING.

STOPTALKING is a community-driven event, held at The White House, 277.5 Augusta Ave. Doors open at 9 pm, and it’s Pay What You Can.
