Jackie Kashian is one of our favourite funny people, and she’s in Toronto this weekend for five sweet shows, bringing her hilarious wit and love of all things dorky. We hear she’s already made plans to hit up The Lockhart – the Harry Potter themed bar – on a quest for butterbeer (and possibly a horcrux).

Kashian has an amazing podcast called The Dork Forest where she talks about whatever her guests like to geek out on – everything from Dungeons and Dragons to history to astrology. She’s also an international touring comic with a new hour stand-up special, “This Will Make an Excellent Horcrux” on the All Things Comedy Network. Kashian was also a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing, and has recorded This American Life with Ira Glass for NPR.
