So basically RAC Boutique has spearheaded and organized the ultimate 4-day shopping extravaganza by bringing together all of our favourite Toronto independent boutiques for one giant sale. Hours and details.

Toronto Underground Market

What the above event is to fashion, this one is to local food. From 6-11 PM this Saturday, the Evergreen Brickworks will host over a dozen vendors who will serve up culinary delights. This is not a food festival or a farmer’s market…one of our favourite events in the city, it’s basically a collection of the coolest kids in town, sampling gourmet food from food truck operators and other cooks who work without a restaurant-grade kitchen. Last time, we scarfed La Carnitas, roasted marshmallows, and did tequila shots with Geoff Hopgood. A tasty night indeed! Online tix are sold out but you can pay $15 at the door after 8:30. A complimentary shuttle bus will run from Broadview station every 30 minutes. YUM-TUM. See details here.

Gladstone Artist and Flea Market

World Stage Opening at Harbourfront

Honestly…NO SERIOUSLY….FOR REALSY…the best international contemporary performance is happening at Harbourfront’s World Stage Festival right NOW. This Friday Harboufront’s World Stage Festival will host the INTERNATIONAL PREMIERE of Ajax and Little Iliad. Intimate audience seatings of thirty will all wear individual headphone sets as directors set out to examine war rehabilitation through theatre. Kinda heavy sounding but certainly groundbreaking; Harbourfront programs the very best for this fest. Showtimes and info here.
