As you can see from the line-up, this weekend’s gonna be a big one. Tonight we’ll battle crowds, throw elbows and brown bag it while trying to catch a glimpse of Regine’s accordion at the Arcade Fire free show. POP Montreal keeps things humming on Friday and Saturday, with no shortage of opportunities for us to drink, dance and sweat.

We’ll probably be feeling a bit rocky come Sunday morning, but thankfully, there’s an antidote: brunch with Sir Froderick at Nouveau Palais!

Sunday, September 25 at 11am, head to Mile End diner Nouveau Palais (281 Bernard Ouest) to enjoy a mid-morning meal with Philadelphia experimental hip-hop artist Sir Froderick, who will soothe us with tracks from his debut record, “Heartaches and Beatbreaks.”

A stiff Caesar or mimosa, paired with some chicken and waffles to soak it all up, and a little Sir Froderick will cure that case of the “POP Montreal flu.” Good thing, since we’ll need our strength for the POP Montreal closing party (10pm on Sept 25 @ Église Saint-Édouard, 425 Beaubien Est) featuring a rare live performance by Montreal’s Think About Life!
