Deadboy, a Toronto graffiti artist who specializes in stencils and counts Rob Ford as a muse (he’s responsible for the Doug-and-Rob as Tweedledum and Tweedledee and the American Gothic raccoon you may have seen around town) is bringing his hybrid images off the streets and into the gallery with Under the Influence of Deadboy at Don’t Tell Mama gallery, opening Thursday, April 5th.

Some of the show’s images were so controversial that gallery owner Paolo Dalla Rosa was almost hesitant, and had some second thoughts. Now, he’s excited to see how patrons will respond to these hybrid works, which are created to challenge expectations.

Under the Influence of Deadboy opens on Thursday, April 5th, at 8 pm at Don’t Tell Mama Gallery, 108 Ossington Ave. The show runs until the end of April.
