It seems pop-up shops have been, well, popping up in Toronto this season like lice at summer camp. Just last week Corduroy Magazine and Chasse Gardee’s pop-up was the talk (and tweet) of the town and now, here we are, marking our calendars for the next pop-up venture. This time, it’s the inaugural Let Us Style Toronto (L.U.S.T.) happening December 10th at the Gladstone Hotel.

Kate Mullin, publicist at The Fashion Collective and co-founder of L.U.S.T. says the trend is a good thing, “offering exclusivity that you wouldn’t find in your day-to-day shopping experience.” True. Originally formed in April to be a one-designer ordeal, L.U.S.T. snowballed into a litany of vendors, boasting Toronto Fashion Week darlings like Rita Liefhebber, Jessica Jensen and Chloe Comme Paris. All at discounted prices, we might add. With a price point of $10-$850, expect everything from children’s wear to jewellery, with a makeover corner courtesy of Ten Spot and Blo Dry, if a mid-shop pamper is in order.

Still, Mullin sheepishly admits that out of all the steals and deals, she’s most excited for the Mary MacLeod shortbread.

Let us Style Toronto happens December 10th (10 a.m. – 10 p.m.) at the Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. West
