This Sunday, Oysterfest returns to stuff Montrealers with pearly bivalves and other tasty treats from the sea. For the second year in a row, ten local restaurants and seafood purveyors will come together to shuck some of the finest oysters ever seen. And it’s not only about oysters! Vegetarians and the squeamish can feast on clambakes, cupcakes, roasted PEI pigs, corn on the cob, Japanese BBQ, tacos, and more.

Oysterfest’s goal is to promote a passion of food and raise funds for ocean sustainability. All profits will go to Environmental Defence, a non-profit organization that has spent the last 20 years defending natural Canadian reserves.

Tickets are $25, not including tax and service fees. The cost of the ticket includes one beverage and one food ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased once you’re in the event – all food and beverage tickets are $5 – and you can get as many as you would like.

Oysterfest: Sunday, September 5th, from 2:00pm to 9:00pm @ The Pigeon Hole Parking Lot (corner St. Jean and Notre Dame)
