Head to South Rosedale this weekend for a craft and art fair that will fulfill all your holiday needs! Plaid tidings, appropriately named after the tartan skirts adorned by Branksome students, is an annual event arranged by alumnae that brings together over fifty exhibitors from within the school community and afar. Not just reserved for old girls, all are welcome to browse the wares that range from art and jewelry to teddy bears and toffee. An event that will certainly spread festive spirit and the perfect opportunity to gather up some gifts in time for holiday party hopping. Following, take a stroll through Rosedale and wind north to Yonge St. for a pastry at Patachou, or check out the recently opened 6 by Gee Beauty. Sounds like a pretty warm and whimsical way to spend an afternoon to us! Ten points if you can identify the house of Dear Aunt Agnes along the way. (Am I the only one who watched that TVO gem from the eighties?)

Branksome Hall is located at 10 Elm Avenue, North of Bloor, stretching both sides of Mt. Pleasant. $7 for entry. Funds raised from Plaid Tidings go towards new centre for film production and media arts.
