You’ve probably seen the H&M ad that’s running on the top of our site. But do you know what it’s about?

Basically, H&M found some really gorgeous and stylish women, from various parts of the world, to take inspiration from. The brand used the personalities and fashion senses of these four women to create a signature collection that is bold, sexy, and fun. We’re stoked on the campaign because it’s a really great way to highlight some emerging talent in the fashion industry, and more predominantly, promote the importance of embracing one’s own style. Each chosen icon is unique, embodying her own personality and letting it shine through what she wears each day. Fashion is, after all, about expressing yourself.

So, who are these women?

Daphne Groeneveld

This Dutch beauty was discovered on the street when she was just 16, and went on to pose with Tom Ford on the cover of French Vogue for her first gig. Not bad.

Lindsey Wixson

Blonde babe Wixson, who has been reading Vogue since she was 12, comes from Kansas. But she’s definitely not in Kansas anymore, Toto.

Liu Wen

Considered China’s first supermodel, Wen entered her first modelling contest because her mother wanted her to stop slouching. But can we talk about those cheekbones, please?

Joan Smalls

This Puerto Rican beauty is considered the world’s number one model by models.com—and was in Ricky Martin’s “It’s Alright” music video (!!!!), which is impressive enough for me.

Hit up H&M’s website for video interviews with each girl, great photos, and, of course, shopping.
