Michaela May is a Toronto-based signer and songwriter with a knack for tackling relevant and relatable content with sparkly melodic hooks. Her catchy tunes aside, we really love that this fearless babe is redefining what it means to be a woman in pop as she is independent, self-managed, self funded + owns her own label and publishing company.

You can catch Michaela May this Sunday August 21st at The Drake Underground with special guest August Rigo for Poprocket. Doors open at 8pm. Tix available here.
