Monday, May 11th and Tuesday, May 12 at the Chestnut Conference Centre

In a world where body image ideals cause us to make black and white judgments of ourselves, Girl Guides of Canada and the National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC) are teaming up to bring out the “shades of grey” of self-esteem. This conference is all about exploring the nuances of beauty and will be a forum to answer questions such as, how are body image issues coming to affect increasingly diverse populations, including young men? What is the best balance between nutrition and exercise? And why do we care what is happening on Facebook anyway? Learn to love yourself better with two days of thought-provoking presentations and networking. For more information, visit http://www.nedic.ca/2009ConferenceIntro.shtml
