For The Kids: Christmas In The Square Kicks Off Tomorrow At Yonge Dundas Square

Take a break from the shopping frenzy tomorrow and bring the kids over to The Salvation Army’s Christmas in the Square, coming to Yonge-Dundas Square!

Hosted by Juno award winning R&B artist Dru, the Salvation Army brings the cheer this season with FREE musical performances by Jades Hip Hop Academy and the Rolling Stonz band, guest appearances, a reading of the Christmas Story, pizza, donuts, and hot chocolate. We also heard Dora the Explorer will be making an appearance–so don’t miss out!

Bring an unwrapped toy to donate if you can, as The Salvation Army will be kicking off the 24th anniversary of the CTV Toy Mountain Campaign. Salvation Army Kettles will also be on hand for donations; with money going to help our city’s most vulnerable citizens by providing practical assistance and tending to the basic necessities of life.

Christmas in the Square runs from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., all ages are welcome and its FREE to attend. Get more info. here.
