“The vibe at Concordia is down to earth, and so many people are passionate about what they believe in.”

Activities: Cooking, biking, uh… rock collecting.

Website: teslagirls.wordpress.com COMING SOON. A blog about dating in Montreal.

The best night out is: Sunday night: Metal night at Salon Officiel. Tuesdays at Blizzarts are fun too.

You have to eat at: Near school, I’d reccomend Kazu, Bangkok (in the Faubourg),  Burritoville, Le Roi du Wonton.

If you need to study, head to: NOT the orange zone in the library. My favourite spots are the 7th floor of the EV building, or 11th floor of the Hall building.

My favourite class was: Culture of Touch with Constance Classen, Psychological Anthropology with Sima Aprahamian.

The best thing about my school is: The people. The vibe is down-to-earth, and so many people are passionate about what they believe in, without being pretentious. The education is top notch: (most of) the teachers impart so much more than the curriculum demands.

Make sure you avoid: Bixi riders, because they don’t know how to ride bikes. Doughnuts.

My favourite memory so far has been: So many fond memories, it’s hard to pick just one!

If I could sum up my school in one sentence, it would be: A fun, intellectually stimulating environment that feels like home.

Any other hints? A few:
1. Fresh coconut water cures hangovers.
2. Light-roast drip coffee has the most caffeine.
3. Don’t kiss and tell.
4. Reggie’s is not an appropriate study spot. And,
5. Procrastination is like a fourth glass of wine on a date with that charming, devastatingly handsome friend of a friend, the night before a huge midterm exam. It seems harmless enough at the time, (fun, even!) but you WILL regret it later. Trust me.
