Whether you resolve to make 2013 the year that you get in shape, travel more, up your stationery game (or any other admirable goal), outing your intentions to the world will help hold you accountable for the promises you made yourself at 11:59pm on December 31.

And I’m of the mind that there is strength in numbers. So preach it: tell the entire world—literally—what you want to do in 2013. The smart folks at Google created an interactive world map that allows you to share (and geographically plot) your personal resolution with the planet. It’s anonymous, and helpfully organized by categories: Love, Health, Career, Finance, Family, Education, and Other. If you’re stuck on what to to do, you can get inspired by what someone in Tunisia has proclaimed, or perhaps get motivated by someone in Malaysia that resolved to “talk less, do more” (yes, a real contribution).

Maybe you’ll even find mine.

Wishing you a glorious, well-mannered year ahead.
