NOVEMBER’S DOC SOUP TO SCREEN TORONTO PREMIERE OF A BALLERINA’S TALE

Hot Docs is pleased to announce that November’s Doc Soup will present the Toronto premiere of A Ballerina’s Tale on Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., and on Thursday, November 5 at 6:45 p.m. at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema (506 Bloor St. West). Director Nelson George will be in attendance to introduce the film and answer questions following the screenings.

Doc Soup is a monthly screening series, bringing the latest Canadian and international documentaries to the big screen in Toronto.

A Ballerina’s Tale, a remarkable story of how great talent and willpower can open doors in a very exclusive world, sheds light on important issues in the world of ballet.

Tickets are $16 (discount tickets are available for Bloor Hot Docs Cinema members) and can be purchased in advance online at www.hotdocs.ca or in person at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema box office. Check out the website for details on student pricing.

Doc Soup titles are announced at least one month prior to their screenings and, whenever possible, guest directors are in attendance!
