From students to alumni to well-known artists, the works of art could belong to anyone-including you. Every year, OCAD raises funds and eyebrows with the Whodunit? Mystery Art Sale. Work by OCAD students and alumni, creative celebrities, acclaimed artists and designers are sold for 75 bucks a pop-and you have no idea who’s behind your masterpiece until you take it home.
The public preview starts on November 18th-until the weekend, you can wander around with paper and pencil, marking down the works that stand out. And for those in the mood for something a little fancier, the Gala Preview on Wednesday the 18th offers a silent auction, cocktails, and a sneak preview of the works. On Saturday, the public art sale begins. Head over to 100 McCaul St. to help break down the barriers of art-spectations, and scoop up a piece you truly love-no matter where it came from.
