The Society of Beer Drinking Ladies is turning five years old, and they’re throwing their biggest beer festival yet to celebrate.

The group will be taking over the parking lot of Henderson Brewery (128-A Sterling Road) this Saturday, February 9, from 2 to 11 p.m. with giant inflatable heated dome tents and two themed parties–a Mardi Gras party in one tent and a tropical party in the other! There will be Ontario craft beer and cider, women-owned food vendors, a women’s artisan market, the Society of Beer Drinking Ladies Swag Shop, performances curated by feminist cabaret series Girl Gang Cabarets, and the Firecracker Comedy Project.

The first 100 people through the door will also receive a celebratory birthday cupcake courtesy of the Sassy Lamb.

Tickets are $40-50 (plus tax) per session (includes four beer tokens, a “Morning After Bag,” access to the Society of Beer Drinking Ladies’ unique Bevy Brew, and more) or $85 for an all-in pass (includes 20 beer tokens). The event is open to the LGBTQ, transgender community and all those who identify as women.
