Situated between Bloorcourt and the Junction Triangle, Bloordale Village offers plenty to see and do, from perusing one of the many art galleries to vintage shopping and exploring its bustling nightlife scene. This weekend, several neighbourhood businesses will play host to concerts, special showcases, and workshops as part of the Major/Minor Bloordale Music and Arts Festival.

The festival kicks off Friday evening at D-Beatstro with the Teen Night Showcase, featuring performances by Kingdom of Birds, 321 sleep, The Daisies, and Ape. Saturday and Sunday events include a collage workshop at Monkey’s Paw, mixed media on vinyl artmaking at Home Baking Co., bike decorating at Sweet Pete’s, mixtape party at the Dupe Shop, and a hair styling workshop at Queen’s Shop.

All events are PWYC and family friendly. A full schedule can be found here.
