BIG On Bloor street festival (between Dufferin and Lansdowne) is in it’s 8th year and keeps getting better and better. Walking through the fest is like taking an explorative journey through many countries, cities, cultures and even decades in time. Among the many attractions included getting your name painted in classic Japanese style, henna applications, petting a snake, drumming on a Burning Man-style playground for kids, grabbing a beautiful Disco Spirits headdress, trying on vintage from Ransack The Universe, watching acrobats spin on hoops or snacking away at one of the many food vendors. Those who braved the showers (what gives Mother Nature?!) were lucky enough to experience the welcoming community vibes of this street fest. We can’t wait to wander around at next year’s BIG On Bloor!
